COMMISSIONS
Embarking on a commissioned painting is a thrilling journey towards owning a personalized artwork tailored to your space. Let's breathe life into the painting you've always dreamed of.
My role is to interpret your vision and craft something entirely original based on my unique technique. I refrain from replicating previous works, allowing each piece to organically evolve through an intuitive process of layering and exploration. This ensures that every artwork is a one-of-a-kind creation, thoughtfully designed with you in mind.
THE PROCESS:
1. SEND ME AN EMAIL: I would love to hear your ideas! If you would like me to create a unique collage of your furry friend, please send me photos in different poses of your loving pet. If you are looking to commission a different subject and have a vague idea of what you would like to have created, please send me a picture of the area where you want the artwork to be displayed and its size. 2. CONSULTATION: I would love to get to know you. We kick off with an initial meeting to explore ideas, preferences, size, your favorite colors, and any personal elements you'd like me to incorporate. Ideally, this discussion takes place in your home or the intended location of the painting. For those not local, we can connect through a video call.
3. PAYMENT: After initial consultation, I'll provide you with a quote. Once agreed upon, a 50% deposit secures the commission, remaining 50% prior to shipping.
4. TIMELINE: The timeline is a minimum of 3 months, depending on the specific requirements of the commission.
5. PROGRESS: Given the dynamic nature of my creative process involving multiple layers and changes, I hold off on revealing the painting until it cohesively (comes together). At this point, I will send you picture of the work in progress; we jointly decide if it's complete or if adjustments are needed. Two adjustments are included, and any additional adjustments incur a charge of $100 each.
6. SHIPPING: Shipping is additional. If you are local I will personally deliver your piece at no cost.
